My name is Micol Mazzeo and I live in Bologna with my loved boys: my husband and my babies, Giulio and Leonardo. I have a First Class degree with honours in Communication Studies from the University of Bologna. I’ve learned how much is important the “way” we communicate and how to do it effectively in different contexts (groups, private tours, school visits, events, …). I try to apply this everyday in my work, in order to enrich each visitor’s experience. I am a qualified Tour Guide in Bologna and Emilia Romagna and Tour Leader. My guided tours are in Italian and English. I’m member of Confguide, the association of authorised tour guides which counts the largest number of tour guides in Bologna among its members. I take part to several courses and conferences in order to keep update and enlarge my knowledge everyday. In 2006 I founded an association named “Geniusloci” (in Roman religion the protective spirit of a place) to promote the cultural heritage of our Region. Now the association works within Felsina Factory and I’m in charge of directing the guided tours.

I am passionate about travelling, art, history, local cultures, and I love to communicate and interact with people.

Beatiful tour with Ferda and her friends from Turkey! I loved our picture in front of Leonardo Lucchi’s “Primo sole” (First sun, bronze, 2009)
